So the Mysfits are my OCs Glory, Tris (Syrintris), and Toby and Holly's ( Judens-Joyride ) OCs Holiday, Emit, and Jared.
(Bold is Emit, Normal is Glory)
"Hey Glo--ry what are you wearing on your head."
"Oh hi Emit! They're cat ears! For you!"
"Um wait what?"
"I thought of something that might make you feel better about your curse and you! So..."
"Glory? Whaddyadoin'?! GLORY?!?"
Glory procured a small orange kitty.
"This is-- well, he doesn't have a name yet, but I was thinking that maybe..."
"Wait-"
"You could name him or something! I thought he'd be good for you..."
"What-"
"Because I know you think you're a cat murderer and stuff but..."
"How did you?"
"You're really awesome and sweet and this little one is..."
"Huh?waitwaitwait-"
"A really nice and sweet cat and he's just adorable and-"
"HOLDUP!"
Glory lifted her head.
"Is there something wrong?"
"YOU ARE HOLDING A CAT!!What-Why-How-Who-When-Where- I have so many questions-- huh?"
"Well I thought you could pet him and play with him a little so you could see that you're awesome and cats don't hate you!"
"Are you sure this is a good idea?"
"Yeah! Well, I'm pretty sure! Just pet him!!!"
"Well-um-uh-"
"PET THE CAT, EMIT!!!!"
Emit pet the cat.
When the kitty started purring, Emit smiled.
"Hey little guy! how are you!"
"See! Completely fine!"
"I guess."
"You wanna hold him?
"Wait, what?!"
"Yeah, go ahead and hold him! You'll be fine!"
"o-okay, but-"
Before he could protest any more, Glory put the cat in Emit's arms.
The cat started purring loudly and snuggled into Emit.
"Hey. You're not so bad! You're kinda cute...Kovu."
"See! Kovu likes you! He likes you! You even named him! If a cat likes you this much, there's no way you could be a cat murderer!"
"I guess. Thanks Glowworm."
Glory and Emit smiled at each other.
"Hey guys-- is that a kitty? How on earth did you get a kitty?" Tris said.
"K-K-Kitty? W-W-Where?" Holiday asked happily.
Tris uncharacteristically squealed, " With Emit and Shisabuya(Glory), Dove! And he's adowable!!" and ran over to pet the cat with Holiday, Glory, and Emit.
"His name is Kovu." said Emit and Glory.
Toby rolled up a hill and said, "Kitty cat? Where?"
Jared, who had just walked in on the scene and saw Toby roll up a hill said (quite judgingly), "Dude, you just rolled up a hill. "
"So?" Toby replied.
"That's wack bro." Jared responded.
"N-n-n-not r-r-really," remarked Holiday.
"Besides, it was to see Kovu!" Holiday and Tris squealed together (very uncharacteristically, they were getting some weird glances now).
"Kovu?" Jared questioned.
"The kitty!" the girls said together.
"K-Kitty? W-W-Where?I mean kitty? What cat?" Jared squeaked.
"Right here bro. You okay? You look pale." Toby said.
When everyone shot Toby the one eyebrow raised look, he amended his statement.
"er." Toby corrected.
"Yeah. I'm f-fine." Jared said.
Glory burst out laughing, and Tris teased sassily, "Awwwww, is poow wittle Jawed afwaid of the kitty cat?"
"No!" Jared squeaked.
"I can tell you're lying!" Tris sang.
"I am not!" Jared squeaked.
"Mmmhmm. Suuuure." Everyone drawled in a Tris-like manner.
"I'm NOT!" Jared yelped.
"Whatever you say bro," Toby smirked.
"It's okay Jared," Holiday said as she walked up to Jared and hugged him.
"I'll protect you from the fluffy wittle kitties," she continued.
"I'm n-n-not afraid of them!!!!" Jared protested.
Holiday pecked him on the lips (yes. in front of everyone), held his hands, and looked straight at him.
"Whatever helps you sleep at night, babe." Holiday said and walked back to the rest of the Mysfits, swinging her hips a little.
Everyone's jaws dropped. Their sweet, innocent little Holiday Jinxens had just sassed someone. Tris ran over and hugged Holiday, singing, "Hollydove!! I'm so proud of you!!!!!! I taught you well! You sassed Jared EEEEEEEE! So proud! Little minx! So proud!"
Everyone came out of their stupor, took one look at Jared's still Bug-Eyes-Jaw-dropped face, and collapsed into laughter.
"Oh, gods, your face!" Emit, Glory, and Tris gasped.
"It's priceless!" guffawed Toby.
"I-i-it is really funny Jared," giggled Holiday.
"Oh haha! Soo funny!" Jared drawled and walked behind Tris.
"You know what else is funny? This!" Jared yelled as he tried to taser Tris with his fingers. However, nothing happened.
Tris looked at him puzzled.
"Are you trying to do something??" she asked.
"What?!" Jared asked in disbelief.
"Oh, dude, that doesn't work on her. It does nothing. I've tried. Also, don't punch her in the stomach. It hurts." said Toby.
"Sorry!" Tris shrugged.
"Ah, well, just have to find a new tar- GET!! AHH!" Jared's sentence was cut off by his squeal.
"Dude what?" Emit asked.
"Someone tasered me!!" Jared said.
Tris had darted behind him while he was talking, tasered him, darted back in front of him, and gave a little wave.
Jared glared at her accusingly as Glory and Emit high-fived her while Holiday and Toby hugged her.
"You, my dear dear friend, are amazing," Glory said.
"Have we told you how much we love you lately?" Toby asked laughing.
"Because we do!" everyone but Jared announced.
"Why, thank you, thank you, I try!" Tris responded while mock waving and bowing.
And the sound of good natured laughing filled the air.
